There are such a lot of pretty things lined up, but a lot of them appear a bit unimportant and when you ask your buddies for recommendation, all of them have the same answer, like what possibly everybody else would suggest, which signals “Hey, do not buy it.” If you end up in a situation like this and you want you’re present to have an individual touch, think photograph mugs.

Why can a photograph mug make a pleasant present? As the firms that produce photograph mugs can place any photograph that you like on it. Why I’ve gone Digital – And Still Keep My Old Camera

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

There has usually been a discussion about what’s better. Conventional cameras using film, or the so-called leading edge technology, storing photos in digital form on memory cards, in PCs or on CD-Rom. As being a paparazzo for over 1/2 my life, I stuck with normal film for long. About seven years back I began to supplement my work with pictures taken the digital way. An aim and shoot camera with just 640×480 pixel resolution was the most enticing gadget I had nowadays. Its lens was even capable of doing close-up work, employing a macro switch. That Fujifilm DX-7 was upgraded with a bigger Memory-Card and the camera served me well for many years. Anyhow, over time, I was still more contented with the chances my collection of Pentax SLR cameras gave me.

It began with using the best lenses for each picture or merely employing a Zoom (which offers a range between wide angle to telephoto), changing the shutter speed to either stop or blur the motion of objects in the picture, use external flashlights, change the aperture openings to adjust the range of sharpness and lots more. Not forgetting the better picture standard I could get from a 35mm negative or slide. I was pleased to use my heavy, solid metal camera. The world modified for me when camera makers like Nikon and Canon introduced their Digital SLR Cameras.

I went to my local camera shop each week and discussed with the sales rep about benefits and downsides of the models they’d on sale. Also I checked with heaps of users in web services to get first hand feedback on how these cameras performed.

Finally, when Pentax introduced their Digital SLRs, I could not wait much longer. With the Pentax first DS have a complete list of benefits over smaller Digital Cameras. I can use the same lenses that fit my normal camera. I’m able to see the picture straight after it is taken. I’ll shoot a series of footage and select the best (at no additional cost for film or paper). A good resolution of six Megapixels which permits quite giant prints.

It weights more than a digital compact camera, so you can hold it steady easier. Employ all the filters, flashlights, lenses and accessories I have picked up over time. Storing the footage on the Computer thru a fast USB connection. Picking only the best pictures for printing. With all of these blessings of digital SLR Cameras, you can ask why I still keep my old 35mm film cameras with me. First, it is emotional, and 2nd, snapping the traditional way keeps me calm. You simply need more time to provide a superb, gratifying image (as you can’t see the result straight after the shot).

Take Some Pictures

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

The older I am getting, the harder it is for me to recollect the people and events of my past. Sure, I may remember that my 4 brothers and I vacationed with our grandparents each year in Canada, but I’m able to no longer remember what the hotel we stayed in looked like or the way my gramps looked wearing his special holiday hat. What I’d give to have footage that helped me to recollect those times.

As I started to have a youngsters of my very own, I noticed that I did not wish to forget any of the special moments that each of my children made. I had no desire to forget the way my oldest girl used to paste out her tongue or the way my youngest boy used to like wearing his father’s baseball caps over his head. Luckily, I won’t have to forget any of the special things that each of my youngsters do because one of the first purchases I made as a new parent was a pleasant camera.

I can’t afford to not have photographs that capture moments and help me to respect them as my youngsters grow older and life changes.

I missed out on too many moments that were ideal for pictures during my own growing up years that I definitely won’t repeat that very same mistake with my private family. I like photos because they’re such an easy yet good way to keep a record of events, rites, and the each day moments which make life worth living.

I treasure each picture that I’m taking because I’m of the opinion that in some little way I’m making a fleeting moment last a little longer. Each time I’m taking more pictures I am getting excited to develop them and to find out how they help to reflect on and remember moments as life continues to hurry by. I’d inspire you, regardless of how young and old you are or irrespective of what stage of life you are in, to get a camera and start to take footage.

Go silly taking photos of the people and places you like most. Your pals and family might get pissed off with your unceasing need to make memories, but I guarantee that at some point shortly they’ll thank you for being committed to taking footage and to preserving great memories.

If the single thing that’s preventing you from having great footage is the cost of getting a camera, then let me put your mind at ease.

There are wide selections of one time use or throwaway cameras available for just some bucks. These cameras let you take the photos you continue to desire with no need to pay gigantic bucks for a complex camera. Do not let another family event or fun evening with pals go by without you getting a camera and snapping pictures that may last a life-time. You and the ones who come behind you’ll be so grateful that you did.
